funny but humans cause problems

I have never watched the TV series but i have seen this movie a lot. It is very funny until the human romance starts which is so awkward. Everybody and everything is very funny till that point and they definitely gave Yogi and Boo boo enough jokes but the Humans sadly mean this film isn't quite perfect.

Yogi Beer.

Yogi Bear (2010): Dir: Eric Brevig / Cast: Tom Cavenagh, Anna Faris, Andrew Daly / Voices: Dan Aykroyd, Justin Timberlake: Here is an example of computer generated images taking charge while plot and story becomes threadbare. It is also based on a classic Hannah Barbara cartoon that deserves better cinematic respect than this. Computer generated family film about the bear with abilities like no other. Jellystone park is threatened when the corrupt Mayor decides to use its destruction for political gain. Ranger Smith must come up with a solution while dealing with Yogi Bear's picnic basket stealing ways. Directed by Eric Brevig with splendid computer graphic images of Yogi and his pal Boo Boo. Unfortunately the screenplay would make better bear dropping pickup. Dan Aykroyd voices Yogi and Justin Timberlake voices Boo Boo and despite their efforts they cannot save the disastrous script. The plot is conventional and dull thus leaving our two bears with little to do. It gets to the point where viewers will likely wish a six pack was in one of those baskets just to cure the nonsense. Anna Faris shows up as a wildlife preserver. After her great comedic performance in Observe and Report what a waste her talent is here. Tom Cavenagh plays Ranger Smith who is a love lorn total cardboard along with his dimwitted employee. The evil Mayor takes the prize as most embarrassing spectacle in the entire film. He is played by Andrew Daly who should have wished that his role was animated so that he not been shamed on screen. Celebrated cartoon subdued in idiot plot. Score: 5 / 10

I love this film, it is so true to the original, the comic books it's great. The voices of Yogi and Boo Boo were perfect and now we go on picernics in our house, not those boring picnic things. It is good to know that there are still people in the film making world who really enter into the spirit of childhood and truth. My husband can't stop saying 'Smarter than the average bear' (which he is) and the children of the house love doing Yogi and Boo Boo's dance. If anyone thinks that this movie isn't great they've 'got a kink in their think'. That's without going into the environmental messages; explaining the danger of fireworks to your scarf if you don't take care of Health and Safety. How do you choose your best bit? The Basket Nabber 2000 designed by an advocate of Heath Robinson? The dejector dinghy? The frog mouthed turtle? Yogi trying to be an average bear and foraging? Congratulations to all involved
