One of the travel-based movies. A film with a nice/needed message for Indian kids living below poverty. Dhanush's performance was as usual exceptional. The story was good enough but there could've been some twists&turns in the screenplay to keep the audiences engaged.

Dhanush carries the whole movie
Wonderful
This is the sort of movie that they don't make anymore, the kind you remember as a child, where everyone is bigger and grander than in real life, where magic can take place, where romance can sweep the globe, and love conquers all. I haven't enjoyed a film so much in years.
The sum of the parts, etc
I had high expectations for The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, although I haven't read the book.
After watching he Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, I asked myself, what makes a good movie? Somehow the "there" wasn't there in he Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir. The parts of the movie were radiant but I had trouble being engaged by it. Which made me think, what makes a decent movie worth watching?
I enjoyed the scenes in India and IKEA, kind of a juxtoposition.
IMDb states that "Behind the scenes clips of the movie being filmed appear during the closing credits." I saw he Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir on TV but the closing credits were just that, closing credits. Maybe I had the misfortune of seeing the alternate version.
Maybe he Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir could be rebooted by an Indian director please with Danny Dyer playing the role that Ben Miller did.
