Boobs and butts horror.

A group of friends—Noah (Bryce Draper), Kylie (Stephanie Danielson), Desiree (Laura Jacobs), Billy (Grant Alan Ouzts), and Mia (Lauren Francesca)—emerge from a swamp having narrowly escaped from unseen assailants. Stumbling upon a deserted house, they break in and try to survive the night, Noah phoning his cousin Troit (Lachlan Buchanan) for help, who arrives with friend Chandi (Puja Mohindra) in tow.

Muck is not so much a horror movie as it is an excuse to fill an hour and a half with hot, firm, nubile young women in varying states of undress. Barely a minute goes by without a flash of T&A, writer/director Steve Wolsh missing no opportunity to home in on the girls' impressive attributes; for this I am grateful, because without the constant supply of eye candy, Muck would be an almost unwatchable mess of a movie, with a wafer thin plot, dreadful performances and virtually no gore, most of the deaths occurring just off-screen. Wolsh also opts for some really irritating editing techniques during his so-called scary scenes; thankfully, the excessive visual gimmickry is not used whenever the lovely ladies are undressing.

As if to further prove that Wolsh had no agenda other than to show sexy women in their scanties, he offers up zero exposition, leaving the origin of his attackers a total mystery and ending the film with a cliffhanger that suggests a distinct lack of ideas.

What a horrible, horrible piece of lowest-hanging fruit garbage

Let me get this straight; a group of men sat down, had a meeting, and decided that they were going to make a movie. They wrote a script, got funding, hired actors, SFX people, crew, etc. to make said film. People woke up every day to go to work to make this, and not ONE SINGLE PERSON saw what was being made and said, "I'm out!". I am not even using hyperbole here when I say that this has got to be one of the worst turds I have ever had the misfortune of poisoning my eyes with. Nothing about this movie makes sense, and everything is just so poorly done, I am shocked that anyone would want to have their name attached to it.

This is what I think really happened; a bunch of High School drop-outs came into some money and decided to make a film for the sole purpose of seeing some females naked. Everything about this movie revolves around unattractive girls showing off their surgery, and after the third girl spent more than 6 minutes staring at herself in the mirror, I wondered if anyone even cared about the plot. Look, porn isn't rare anymore. You don't have to watch these types of movies to see breasts. Why do the man-children that make these movies think that anyone would enjoy seeing these poor excuses for actors? Not a single one of them a talented actor, yet they are parading around like they are being paid to be "hot". It's unfortunate, and truly a testament to how maturity and intelligence play a big role in how successful the end result of any film production might be.

The sole saving grace of this movie were the antagonists; they were vicious, they didn't speak, and they killed without prejudice. It's a damn shame that such an effective villain was wasted on this PlayboyTV reject of a movie.

Case in point, I will put the names of everyone involved in this on a list of crappy movies and make it a point to avoid anything and everything any one of them is ever involved in. I am tired of these types of individuals taking advantage of the horror genre simply because it doesn't require much effort. Avoid this film and never spend any moneyon anything these people ever make.

Tragic film-making at its worst.

Boobs, booze and nonsense

I appreciated and loathed this movie at the same time. I appreciated it for the Ladies™. There were. Just. So many. I lost count. And I'm usually good at counting ladies. But that's besides the point. I loved them. The thing I hated about the movie was the rest. ALL of it. Especially the casual use of homophobic slurs without making it seem like a negative thing. Honestly, just use a different word, you ignorant pieces of sh**. You're unable to even make a good movie, probably because you're writing a script and thinking to yourself "OH, what could the funny guy call his friend as an insult!!! OH RIGHT!!! Let's use F*****! Genius, Larry." Not genius, Larry. Pathetic.

Now about the plot. This one is just a big mystery to me. Like. I don't even know what to say? What should I be commenting on? I am confusion? It was just boobs, booze and nonsense. The soundtrack? The dramatic banjo was AMAZING, always on point, should've used it more imo, but the rest of the actual songs were totally unfitting. The cinematography? Bad. Like. REALLY BAD. Watching this, especially the fight scenes, was like watching a movie shot by a toddler. A toddler that likes to use a lot of fake blood.

Anyway. Ladies were good. Rest was bad. Bye.

PS: WHERE THE FRICK WAS THE ICE? asking for a friend
