Silly, but Funny!

If you're willing enough to forgive some lame jokes & some over-the-top physical humor, then 'Just Married' will certainly work for you. All I can is, I laughed & enjoyed myself! Nothing memorable here, but a good laugh is never bad, is it?

'Just Married' Synopsis: A young newlywed couple honeymoon in Europe, where obstacles challenge their ability to sustain the marriage.

'Just Married' funnily follows a newlywed couple's series of unfortunate events & turns them into a silly, fun watch. Some jokes land well & some don't. And fortunately enough, 'Just Married' never goes out breath, even though its never entirely engaging. Sam Harper's Screenplay has some LOL moments, that deserve to be credited. Shawn Levy's Direction is satisfactory. Cinematography & Editing are decent.

Performance-Wise: The Late/Great Brittany Murphy & Ashton Kutcher willingly own up-to the film's silly humor & deliver entertaining acts. Its a joy to watch Murphy loosen up here, while Kutcher proves yet again that Comedy was always his forte.

On the whole, 'Just Married' is uncomplicated fun.

Gets tiresome

Just married (2003) starring Ashton kutcher and Brittany Murphy gets very tiresome and the same old recycled jokes and boring gags are way overused. Ashton and Brittany had OK chemistry I suppose, nothing great. And the movie starts off pretty bad, using stupid lazy physical gags for jokes. These "jokes" are not funny or slightly amusing at all, and I just wanted them to end desperately. The acting is alright, not bad or great, just alright. The dialogue is kinda lazy and dull to be honest. The plot is stereotypical and predictable, which isn't always a bad thing, but it just didn't go over well with this film. Towards the end, it got a little better, but not much, some of the scenes had some sweet heartfelt moments, but the comedy didn't get any better. 4/10 for just married.

From the director of Night At The Museum and Reel Steel comes this hilarious romantic comedy

Just Married is directed by Shawn Levy and tells the tale of two lovebirds named Tom and Sarah(played by Ashton Kutcher and the late Brittany Murphy)who get married and go off on their honeymoon to spend their time being newlyweds. Of course both of them are from different backgrounds as Sarah's parents don't approve of Tom while Tom works in a low end job. So the film is being told in flashbacks.During the course of the movie the pair go and find a place to stay for their honeymoon. But what happens after this ends up being a disaster as every place they stay in is a nightmare for them both. One place they were staying at the electricity blew up as Tom was trying to plug in a device into the wall using a EC electric plug. While the next place the place falls a sunder and of course Sarah meets her former fiancé played by Christian Kane later in the film. Think of this as Some Mothers Do Have 'Em and you litreally get this film. The film to its credit is very funny and I liked the cast in this film. Luckily it was on Cable a few nights ago as I haven't seen it in a very long time.

If you like screwball romantic comedies and you like the actors that are in this film then check it out and see it for yourself.
