A Great Movie For The Whole Family To Enjoy,

Diary Of A Wimpy: Dog Days is a very funny movie with great, innocent humor for the whole family to enjoy.I find the characters and scenes in the movie very funny and in the cinema, people of all ages where laughing.I love the books,a lot more than the films,as usual, because movies based on books always leave a lot of stuff out,and thats no exception with the Diary Of A Wimpy Kid movies, especially this one, because its a mix of two,The Last Strraw and Dog Days, but it still is quit enjoyable and the scenes stay true to the scenes there based off from the book.

Greg Heffley is gearing towards a summer of doing nothing but playing video games, but his dad is not allowing this and wants him doing more activities.Greg pretends to his dad he got a job at a country club, but hes really just going there with his best friend Rowley and his brother Rodrick to have a good time, and to speak to Holly Hills,a girl he likes.Gregs summer plans aren't going exactly as planned.

Come on

Amazing fact for such movies: that usually with each part they get worse. BUT THIS FILM IS NOT THE CASE. New interesting story, new adventures, new tests of strength. This film has not lost its charm. Highly recommend! It is recommended to look from the first part.

Greg's Lies Stack Up

Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon) has been lying since the first "Diary of a Wimpy Kid," and his lies have always got him in trouble, yet they chose this episode to harp on them. And by harp on them I mean the dad (Steve Zahn) says he's "disappointed" and never even uses the word "lie."

Diary of a Wimpy Kid part three happens during summer vacation. Greg and his best friend Rowley (Robert Capron) are on their way to eighth grade and Greg wants to spend his summer vacation vegetating in front of the T. V. playing video games. His dad wants him to do anything active.

He got a chance to do some active living when Rowley invited him to a country club. It was the perfect place for Greg to be because he could have fun and his crush, Holly Hills (Peyton List), was there. This country club plan of his was going to be interrupted by his dad because good ol' pops got him an internship at his job. Ever the liar, Greg said he already had a job at the country club.

That was probably the fifth lie he'd told and he wasn't done. Honestly (no pun intended), it was getting old. His lies were stacking up and why not? What was the downside to lying compared to the upside? The downside was that he may have to go to Spag Preparatory School, but that wasn't very likely. The upside is that he gets to do the things he wants to do.

I found the movie lacking in the moral lessons department. Frank (Greg's dad) never once said, "Greg you are a liar and no one likes or trusts a liar, and I can't trust you." I know "liar" is a strong word, but he didn't lie once, he lied all the time. Sure, the lies were uncovered eventually, but it was done rather weakly. Like anyone, I'm pressing my own morals upon this movie. Where I come from lying is a major issue, I guess it's nothing big in the world of the wimpy kid.
