A very poorly written comedy..

Two best friends become rivals when they schedule their respective weddings on the same day. Bride Wars contains famous names such as Kate Hudson (How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days), Anne Hathaway (The Dark Knight Rises) and Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) but the film is unfortunately poorly developed and it's full of clichés and you see the ending from miles away plus i found the story kinda stupid i mean shouldn't the girls be happy that their dream come true and they even get married at the same day? Shouldn't that just bring tears to their eyes? But no this is a film that is boring, unfunny and has Hudson eating and drinking for the entire run time of this torture. Anyhow girls will probably like it but guys might actually fell asleep or change the channel for sure. (4/10)

A movie with a stupid implementation

Liv and Emma have been inseparable friends for 20 years, dreaming about their perfect wedding at the Plaza Hotel. Unfortunately for them, the wedding planner mixes their dates so now they're due to be married on the same day. For them, this is simply unacceptable and because they cannot get to an agreement, the begin to fight each other (fortunately not literally). From here on, we see two women desperate to destroy the other's wedding rather than looking after their own.

Although it started rather promising, the whole situation really gets out of hand. It's absolutely idiotic how two such friends would try to ruin the other, and their methods are at least stupid. I thought that its finale could regain some dignity but I'm disappointed to tell you that it is by far the worst part. Without any logic, without any sense...Oh my God! Too bad, too bad. It could have been so much betterÂ…

A nice film, with two nasty main characters

With a good director in Gary Winick and two big stars in the leads (Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway) this film should have been great.

And to be fair it has it's moments, but about half way in the whole friendship of the girls is thrown away and they resort to doing very silly things.

While its lovely to see these two glamorous women do lots of slapstick and physical comedy (maybe the reason they both signed on to do this film), the film has such a thin premise that it runs out of steam quickly.

A shame, this could've been great.
