Honestly, I feel like Mattel has stepped up her game with sequels! I loved everything about this movie, the plot, the characters' interaction, everything!

Plot summary
Mariposa becomes the Royal Ambassador of Flutterfield, and is sent to bring peace between her fairy land and their rivals, the Crystal Fairies of Shimmervale. While Mariposa doesn't make a great first impression on the King, she becomes fast friends with his shy daughter, Princess Catania. However, a misunderstanding causes Mariposa to be banished from their fairy land. As Mariposa and Zee returns to Flutterfield, they encounter a dark fairy on her way to destroy Shimmervale. Mariposa rushes back and helps Princess Catania to save their fairy land and together, the two girls prove that the best way to make a friend, is to be a friend.

A pretty good plot
I honestly found the plot of this movie to be very engaging. I dare say that this movie is better than the first Mariposa. The villain is less engaging, but plays a smaller role. The animation is much better than the previous Mariposa movie.
The characters are all likeable. Outside of the two puffballs, who I don't like very much, the designs are quite pretty. It's worth a watch if you're a fan of these types of movies.

Overall this is a good sequel. Wish they kept the animation the same but the story makes up for that. A good watch
