Can't believe they made another one after Chipwrecked. Can't believe I actually enjoined myself on this one

So here we are, four movies into an Alive an a Chipmunk franchise. I did not think the first movie was that good to make a second, and I thought the third film was so bad that it would mark the end of the franchise, but "Episode IV": the Road Chip has arrived.

This time Alvin, Simon, and Theodore go on a fun adventure all across the southern united states as they attempt to get from LA to Florida in order to stop Dave from purposing to a woman, which will change his life forever, have him leave the Chipmunks behind, and make them stepbrothers with their worse enemy(or so they think in their heads)

I did go into the movie with very low standards of it's capability, but I'll admit, I am impress. The plot was cartoonish and only used to get the momentum going. The Road chip is all about the zingy mischief and mayhem that the chipmunks cause in a sketch by sketch somewhat layout that's intertwine with musical numbers of the Chipmunks ripping off the latest hot song of the time (though I think they due perform one original song, but I'm not hip enough to be sure).

The chipets also make a small appearance in the movie as the new Judges of American Idol, which was hilarious.

It's literally like watching a child trying to entertain you. They can be irritating at first but it's so cute you can't help but to soften your hard adult shell and just be amused at the whole thing.

Not gonna lie but I actually found this movie great

Today I brought my brother and my mom to see the new Alvin movie since he wanted to go and see it,and since I seen all 3 of them(yes folks these guys are my guilty pleasure so what)I decided to give this one a shot. The story is about Dave and his new girlfriend who goes off to Miami for a few days and the chipmunks assume that Dave is going to pop the question to his girlfriend Samantha(played by that girl from Father Of The Bride)who is a single mom to a 19 year old boy called Miles(Josh Green)who at first hates the chipmunks and then later he grows to love them. But there is an air marshall after the chipmunks and the chipmunks and Miles must try and go back to Miami to find Dave. But is dave really going to pop the question?

Overall I enjoyed this film, ignore the critics cause at the end of the day we all are movie critics at the end of it all. If you loved the first three than this one is even better than the last 3.

My advice give it a chance and enjoy it for its Uptown Funk sequence.

Entertaining kids' movie

When Dave introduces new girlfriend Samantha, the Chipmunks are pleased. However, when her son Miles turns out to be a bit of a bully, they are less pleased. So when Dave takes Samantha to Miami with, it appears, the intention of proposing, the Chipmunks decide they have to follow and sabotage the proposal. Since they cannot fly (due to lunatic Air Marshall Suggs getting them banned from flying), this means a road trip across the country with Miles providing the accompanying "adult" they need. It turns out that Miles has some issues, and, well, I bet you can guess what unwinds during the trip.

My knowledge of the Chipmunks ended donkeys' years ago, with their old records, and I hadn't seen any of the three previous movies in this series. I was pleasantly surprised. This is bright, cheerful, pleasing nonsense for kids, with lots of silliness, a tolerable plot with a decent development arc for Miles, some surprises when things don't go quite as you'd expect, and a moderate amount of tuneful, toe-tapping music. The Chipmunks themselves are all strongly established character types, voiced by good actors (although Matthew Gray Gubler is the only one I recognised through the squeakification of his voice), and brilliantly animated and integrated into the live action plates.

If you are determined to be an adult then there is stuff to be picky about – I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to legally adopt Chipmunks, for instance – but then, I'm also pretty sure that Chipmunks don't talk and sing and, if you have trouble with that, you really shouldn't be watching this film, should you? This is a really enjoyable family movie.
