Okay, I've just read most of the other reviews of this movie and I completely agree with a couple of them who said the first few minutes were so bad they just turned it off. I felt that way too at about the 15 minute mark, but I just left it on because I was just chillin' at home with nothing else in particular to do. Those two ditzy chicks were awful. I was sorry to see the bad plastic surgery on Jess Walton-she used to be so attractive. And I just couldn't buy Vivica Fox as the Mom. I was ready to hate the character of Shane, but before long he had won me over. And Kaitlyn Leeb as Clara was really quite engaging. I won't give away the ending, but trust me that it really does make enduring the first half of the movie worth the pain it takes to watch it. I give it 6 stars: 1 for the beginning, 4 for the plot development later in the movie, and 10 for the finale, making an average (in my mind) of 6.

Very bad start, very good finish
Pretty cheesy
"Christmas with a View" tells the story of a young woman, who is a very capable chef but doesn't have the guts to open an own restaurant or bed and breakfast after a flop in the past. When a famous chef accepts a job in her kitchen, a love story begins to unroll that will soon become troubled.
The movie is quite predictable because it's pretty much one of the feel good love stories that we all know tons of. An unexpected couple has to face a lot of trouble just to overcome it and live their dreams. All of this is presented in a very cheesy manner but not necessarily badly. You do emphasize with the characters and unlike other reviewers, I also wasn't heavily bored. Probably the biggest that you can accuse this film of is that there is not really a need for it, since it does nothing new and the story is not very innovative as well.
All in all this is a can-watch-movie, that will not leave you angry or disturbed but will not shake your movie world neither. Something you don't have to see necessarily but you also don't have to run away from it.
Don't expect too much.
A veritable bevy of hot men, but alas the story was lacking something, although the romance was quite sweet.
I nearly turned it off before the ten minute mark, when they showed the Reality TV Cooking Programme, because that bit was awful, but I'm glad I watch it all, because it wasn't so bad.
Bonnie was not acted very well and her boyfriend Clive, although we get to see his fantastic body, overacted the "Nerd" thing.
It's a typical double crossing boss story in amongst a romance and a desire to be home for Christmas, but it all just felt a bit wet. Even our sexy leading man was a bit drippy.
It's full of real snow though?
